The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show may be over for another year, but this week is far from done. We were honoured to be the opening event of this year’s London Cocktail Week, running through this week and building on the success of last year with even more events, even more bars and a whole host of tasty beverages to seek out around town.
London Cocktail Week
LCW’s core mechanic is simple – pick up a wristband, visit one of over 200 bars taking part, buy a specially chosen cocktail for £4, rinse and repeat. On top of that there are also bus tours of the bars and a stack of events to attend, including bar tending competitions, tastings, food matching and some good old fashioned parties.
It’s not all cocktails, though, with dedicated spirits events as well as lots of whisky related shenanigans including chocolate and whisky pairings, and tastings every day at Albannach on Leicester Square with Dramatic Whisky.
Our Show opened the festivities and closing the week is another of the biggest events in the year’s drinking calendar – Rumfest. We’ll be along on Saturday and Sunday as the official retail partners, so pop by if you’re there, say hello and maybe pick up a bottle or two.
