TWE: Independent Spirits Retailer of the Year 2009
We’ve been saying it for a long time and now we’ve got proof! At the Drinks Retailing Awards dinner on Tuesday night (in the Dorchester, no less), The Whisky Exchange scooped the gong for “Independent Spirits Retailer of the Year 2009”.
We don’t go in for teary emotional speeches, so we’d just like to say a massive Thank You to all our customers and friends. We won’t be resting on our laurels either. If you haven’t been yet, now is the perfect time to visit our shop in Vinopolis, gawp at our incredible range and see for yourselves. Look out for a lot more to come from The Whisky Exchange in 2009…
Cheers,
Tim F

Congratulations, you deserve it.
Congrats on the award!
Just too bad you’re not available in Norway 🙁 But I’ll come by again next time I’m in the UK!
Fantastic news – congratulations!
By the way, everyone: don’t forget to vote in the Drammies!

We’re proud to announce that our Elements of Islay series is up for two awards – Best Packaging and Most Innovative New Product. I’m voting for my friends and accomplices caskstrength.net in the Best New Product (non whisky) category. I strongly urge you to check them out.
Grats! I have never brought anything from you guys, but that will change this year! I also popped by the shop in October and had a very good chat with one of the guys in the store!
Congratulations! It’s richly deserved. TWE is a class act altogether. When I want a certain bottle, I will always check out the TWE website first; if you have it I’ll buy it from you. You have the most competitive prices and a very professional service.
And I was very impressed by your ‘The Single Malts of Scotland’ Clynelish 15 yo, which shows that you’re a pretty decent IB as well.
I look forward to my third visit to the Vinopolis shop when my wife and I spend a couple of days up in London over this coming half-term. (Hmm… might require some planning. While the wife clothes shops in Covent Garden, I might, er, check out the architecture of Southwark Cathedral. Yes, that’s it! Just in case I get seduced by something pricey.)
Voted already:P
Well done! Totally deserved!
