In the 1980s the Italian company Moon Imports launched a remarkable series of bottlings, often including malts from what were then little-known distilleries.  Due to their beautiful labels and the incredible quality and rarity of bottlings like Ardbeg 1966 and Dunglass 1967 these bottles have now become extremely collectable, with full sets of any of the series changing hands for thousands of pounds.  Below are some of the bottles we’ve encountered in the last few years – please note that many of these bottles are long gone, however some are still available (links below).
